Uncle Louie`s Pizza Lounge in Wilmington

The food is pretty bad, save your money or try a different local pizza shop in Wilmington. Also the manager Spencer is so rude. Yuck.

It's a nice enough place, a bit expensive, with not the greatest service. Really want to give them 5 stars

Took over 15 mins for me to get my water and my server Maria had already refilled one table and got another table their drinks and they sat down AFTER me. She told me the steak and cheese sub was good and she got it alot so I got that. I wasn't good but I was hungry so I ate half. I watched the others in the room and I watched her tell another table to hold on while she got a tables order who had just sat down while the table she told to hold had already been there 10 mins. She forgot another tables drink order and didn't get it till they were almost done eating and had to ask them again what their drinks were. When leaving she leaned completely over my food to ask did I need a box. So I declined. If it wasn't for the customer service I received I would be willing to give it another try with a different food item but I'll pass.

I'm truly surprised at the number of positive reviews this establishment has. I ordered a cheese pizza and garlic knots to be delivered to my work. I am not in any way a pizza snob, but the pizza was dreadful. How do you mess up cheese pizza? It tasted like the worst quality frozen pizza heated up and thrown in a box.. or like the pizza you get by-the-slice from a convenience store. As if that wasn't bad enough, the garlic knots were ALL burnt to a crisp, and were flavored poorly. Literally dry bread with chunks of garlic everywhere. No oil. No flavor. Overall, I am embarrassed with myself for spending $15 on one of the most sub-par meals I've ever had from a restaurant. First impressions are lasting, and Uncle Louie will not be getting a second chance with me.

Excellent food, good prices

Uncle Louie's has some of the best food I've had since I moved to Wilmington 6 years ago. The staff is very polite and a welcoming atmosphere. Eat local you won't be disappointed .

Serving staff is excellent but the management needs an attitude adjustment.

Awful. Great employees serving the worst food ive ever had. Best thing we had was the appetizer fries. Chicken wrap had no flavor at all. Open roast beef with anju came floating in a bowl. The 4 slices of meat on it were so spicy i couldnt eat it. We left 95% of our meal untouched and ever after complaining paid our full bill and left. The restaurant was clean and inviting minus the flies that continued to land on our table food and hands( and that was inside!) Not a place i will ever return to.

Got a Greek salad and a capellini pasta, delicious! I decided to pick my order up myself and went to the restaurant, staff was friendly and the place looked pretty good!

Pizza was okay, all the toppings pretty much fell off the crust. Ranch was super watered down. However the staff was very nice and friendly.

Good food, great service, clean & virus aware. I eat there every Wed with 3 friends. I have never been disappointed.

There was a horrible smell (like sewage) through out the restaurant. All the little air fresheners placed about didn't do anything to help.

Hidden Gem!! Chicken parmesan was amazing. Waitress was super nice and attentive.

Good pizza. Pizza by the slice lunch specials. Full bar. Sports tv. Also an area away from the bar. Nice.

This is the best Italian food we have in our area and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. This family owned and operated restaraunt os a hidden gem to many Wilmingtonians but if you enjoy pizza where the dough is made fresh by hand every morning and authentic pasta like penne ala vodka made to order then you need to check them out...and their prices are lower than the franchise "fresh" but really frozen "pasta in a box" competitors found in mid-town! It's also a plus they deliver within a certain radius and offer personalized catering services.

Best Lasagna Ever!! I love their pizza and salads, but wanted to try something different, and when I say this is DELICIOUS - I mean it!! This place is a must for great italian cuisine!

Ordered an Italian sub. Slooooow service. Sub was 90% mayo. Couldn't even eat it. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.

Good pizza and wings at a reasonable price. I usually pick up because I'm right down the street, but the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The bar seems like a local neighborhood hangout and I like that too.

If you're a sweeter than sweet, sweet tea fan - order it up!!

The owners are wonderful, the waitstaff is very attentive and the kitchen slings some great food!

Had a great dining experience. I am new to the area and had no idea where to have lunch at. I'm very pleased with my decision, to say the least. When I walked in, my server Amanda was cleaning a wall, so automatically this place seemed what it looked like - clean and fun. The menu had tons of options, and my Cajun Wrap, which I'd learned was new to the menu, packed a mouthful of savory and a bit spicy flavor. My server was very attentive to my needs, not to mention drop dead gorgeous. I'd come back just to see her even if the food was awful, haha. The bathrooms were clean, the food was fast/accurate, the service was excellent and on that menu I'm quite certain but that anyone could find something they'll enjoy due to it's myriad of choices. I couldn't have asked for a better place to get a later lunch. You guys rock!

I ordered 2 large pizzas for delivery. When the pizzas arrived, they were slightly cold, which is fine. I didn’t mind microwaving it... but it was obvious they didn’t put them in an insulated bag because the box had rain drops all over it. The first thing I noticed when eating the pizza is that the cheese tasted like it had expired. I called to see if I could get my order re-made because I genuinely was not happy with the quality. She asked me to bring the pizzas back which is reasonable. I explained that the cheese tasted old and the pizza was cold and the manager on the phone replied “That’s odd, we make all our pizzas to order and we deliver them as soon as they’re made, and they’re kept in insulated bags” and then proceeded to ask me if I was sure it wasn’t ordered from Dominos.. Are you kidding me? 😕 Will not be ordering from here again.

Had a birthday brunch this Sunday at this establishment, $4 mimosas, great food! Bartender Abby hid my cake in the back for my mom and brought it out- even sung happy birthday to me... Local gem, and the restaurant is good too ;)

Our food was delicious and our waiter was attentive and friendly. He is a hard worker with a nice manner as well as a great smile!

Pizza is good. You can enjoy it if you like eating in the middle of the day on a Tuesday in an atmosphere that is similar to a club downtown on a Friday night. The bass was so loud we asked if they’d turn it down since we could not hear the bartender 2 feet away speaking and the manager said “oh is it bothering you” and then took his phone out of his pocket but did not turn it down. You could see the tables around staring at the manager because they clearly felt the same way (it was all 50+ year olds in there!? LOL) ... We moved into the other room and got the pleasure of listening to super quiet 50s music while the bass from the bar room area shook the table still... I think I’ll go elsewhere next time or get it to go. Not knocking the food by any means but it has been consistently bad service the mere 3 times I've gone there. Lame.

This sucks because i used to like this place, Waited a little over an hour.. (Expected for a friday so not to bad) Received my pizzas. Along with some "Extra slices" Because they burnt one of my pizzas? My soda was also not delivered. Called to ask about my soda, Looked at my pizza as it was ringing and noticed that BOTH were not made correctly? 1 pizza was supposed to have extra cheese. The other was supposed to have Canadian Bacon. I pizzas that were half and half. And i definetly wouldn't call either "Extra Cheese" Talked to the manager she said that i can have a $10 credit for my next order... How do you get $10 from a $25 order? She started to get a little rude so i gave up. never really had any issues besides this. Unfortunately they most likely lost me as a customer.

Pizza took 45 minutes - 25 minutes after the rest of the food came out so one person got to watch everyone else eat. They offered a discount, but would have prefered good service than a few bucks off the check. I usually tip 25%, but not this time!! The worst service I've had in all of Wilmington. Also, hope you like being called "boss" by the wait staff. Classy joint indeed.

Great menu and their brushetta is insane! They also have live music some nights. Last night was Jason Jackson and Randall Canady. These two are an awesome duo you don't want to miss wherever they are playing!

Great food with an ethnic choice of Italian scratch dishes. This establishment knows the meaning of "hospitality." True welcoming with a genuine family atmosphere within the community.

They're super friendly and the food is already fast it's really good! And even if there is a mistake they'll fix it as quick as they can. Great place.

Stopped in first time during lunch. Great menu selections and varieties of italian inspired apps,salads,pasta, pizzas and subs and more. Service was outstanding. Geniune hospitality by our server. We started out with a nice crisp fresh garden salad and Greek salad. Main entree was an XL pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni! Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place for fresh quality ingredients and great pizza

Absolutely the worst service in Wilmington. The only thing worse than the Staff and Owner’s attitude is the food. Save yourself the trouble and don’t dine here.This area of Wilmington has been looking forward to this place closing for a long time and a competently run restaurant/bar to open!
